Alana & Nico’s Sydney Wedding at the MCA

Alana and Nico’s wedding at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney moved with a clear contrast between tradition and modernity. The day began with a Greek Orthodox ceremony, rich in meaning and ritual, before transitioning into a reception that felt energetic, contemporary, and intentionally warm. Classic elements were reinterpreted; a hand stitched monogram on Alana’s gown, a coffee cart as a quiet nod to heritage, and a vintage getaway car set against the city backdrop. As the night unfolded, the mood shifted from sentimental and structured to relaxed and high energy, with the space designed to support that change. A wedding that honoured tradition, then confidently stepped into something distinctly modern.

What they said

We are beyond grateful for Paloma Events and the incredible team who made our wedding weekend feel effortless and truly magical. Every detail was so beautifully thought out, and we were able to be fully present knowing everything was taken care of. The compliments, shock and awe from our guests said it all — everything ran seamlessly and looked breathtaking. Paloma brought such calm, creativity and warmth to the whole process, and we honestly couldn’t have imagined our day without them! Thank you Brooke & Emma!
